I use mainstream Microsoft Office applications to develop advanced modelling tools to meet project requirements. Some examples of projects I’ve participated in previously are listed here:
Development of energy, transportation, waste, water and carbon MS EXCEL prototype carbon modelling tools for city and precinct level modelling, aimed specifically at developing world;
Development of MS Excel business case model for analysing cost and carbon savings of new build and retrofit buildings in the UK;
Development of MS Excel cost benefit analysis toolkit for assessing changes to Part L Energy Regulations pertaining to new build residential construction in the UK;
Green buildings specialist responsible for development of international cost and carbon modelling MS EXCEL prototype tools, for integration into the EDGE Buildings Programme framework. Expansion of current datasets to include EU and UK building performance data, for future integration into EDGE modelling tools;
Development of resource efficiency impact modelling tools in Excel / VBA to support UK Government in promoting resource efficiency within the FM Sector. Tools to model furniture; horticultural equipment; building maintenance cost and resource impacts;
Development of cost database and modelling tools in Excel / VBA to support assessment of UK energy infrastructure costs through to 2050, in the vectors of electricity, heat, hydrogen and natural gas;
Modelling of waste streams emanating from all airport related activities in and around Heathrow Airport, as a part of a larger feasibility study, to support investigations into waste-to-energy technologies.
